A nice new addition to the ever changing/growing Westside is Perrine's Wine Shop, owned and operated by Perrine Prieur. I stopped by during my lunch hour after reading a blurb in Atlanta Magazine and needing a present for a 'person who has it all'. Located down the road from Star Provisions and next door to Yeah! Burger, Perrine's is a simple space with a nice selection of wines from all over the world. For this visit, I chose a moderately priced red from Argentina as a gift and for my self an affordable Chardonnay from Italy. I also found out that Perrine will be expanding her selection of Champagne for the upcoming holidays and will be having Champagne tastings. I of course was eagerly added to her e-mail list to keep abreast of such happenings. If you love wine like I do, I encourage you to visit for personable, knowledgable service and some very good wine.
