Shout Out to Sheik Burritos n' Kabobs

Lunch today was a spot suggested by my co-worker.  Located near our mid-town office on Piedmont Road, Sheik Burritos n' Kabobs is a tasty respite from frozen lunches heated in the office microwave.  Even though it was a bit rainy, I headed out to this tiny addition to ATL restaurant scene.  Located in a strip mall, next to Psycho Sisters, this eatery takes fusion cuisine to a entirely new level.  Think Persia meets Mexico.  Case in point, I chose to design my own 'kabob burrito' with chicken, Bad-Man-Jon sauce: Spicy eggplant with lentils and tomatoes and Shirazi condiment:  tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, mint, citrus and olive oil, all on pita flat bread.  All I can say is YUM.  The combination of flavors was phenomenal.  Most importantly I was satiated and not stuffed.  And this place is good for meat eaters and meat freers alike.  With the endless combinations of ingredients available, I will be back soon to create another fusion masterpiece.
